healing mindset

A three week workshop
at the New Mexico Cancer Center

Learn essential techniques to support your cancer journey and find long-term healing.

Success in cancer treatment requires an all-in mindset.

Cutting edge research increasingly supports a connection between mindset and health outcomes. Adherence to healthy, treatment-supporting behaviors like a good diet, exercise, proper sleep, etc. is linked to decreased side effects and symptoms in cancer care, as well as better treatment outcomes. However, actually doing the work of healthy behavior can be very difficult without proper education, support and alignment.

And so, I'm proud to offer Healing Mindset for Cancer Care, a new 3 week support workshop for patients of the New Mexico Cancer Center.

Some outcomes of this workshop are:

  • Understanding the fundamentals of mind-body connection and how mindset affects healing,

  • Increasing parasympathetic nervous system activity (shown to improve immune system function)

  • Increasing whole-self orientation towards treatment success and address emotional barriers to healing

  • Increasing commitment to behavioral supports for cancer treatment, including healthy eating, self-care, etc.

The workshop will focus equally on mental training and educating about the mind-body connection and using self-hypnosis for overall immune support.

Get your head into the game of your own healing to beat your cancer and thrive!

Please plan to attend all three workshop dates. Self-hypnosis is a skill that must be practiced and improved upon to produce durable results. All workshop attendees will receive three progressive, downloadable self-hypnosis audio files to practice at home, and a neck pillow for comfortable self-hypnosis anywhere.

Participation is free and limited to patients of the New Mexico Cancer Center and members of the Pink Warrior House. Patients with all types of cancer are welcome to attend.
